Kenneth L. Watts was born in Kalamazoo on July 26th 1955. He along with his two brothers and two sisters, grew up in a family building business. Later his two brothers and Ken proceeded seperately into their own building businesses. Combined, the family has built over 3,000 homes in the greater Kalamazoo area.

Ken began both designing and building custom homes. His business grew and Ken created a development known as Springwood Hills, an exclusive community of 105 custom homes in a natural environment. In total, three different housing developments worth over $40 million.

After his recent home building business of single family land/home packages with FHA, Rural Development and conventional mortgage financing, Ken has turned his talent to creating the Villas of StoneHenge, an Epcon Communities builder. This condominium development is in response to the ever-increasing retirement need of the baby bommer generation and customers seeking low maintenance home ownership.

Epcon Communities, Inc., located in Dublin Ohio, is the nation's pre-eminent developer and builder of ranch-style condominium communities. Epcon founders Philip Fankhauser and Edward Bacome, began building single-story ranch style condominiums in 1986. Since that time, they've developed over 35 Epcon communities in central Ohio.
